Suade set up Adapted Vinyl in the late 90’s combining his skills as a highly trained composer and instrumentalist with a love of music technology. His music takes the techno ethos of continual development very much to heart. Since the mid 80’s Suade has been pushing the DJ role to new highs, taking his live set around the world with Rex, a device designed and built by him as a hybrid combination of sampler, mixer and FX unit all in one box; ‘I’ve taken the route of developing a new technology to enhance the Djing art, ‘says Suade, ‘so I can add something genuinely new to the continuing progress of this electronic music culture.’
